Willie Otey Kay crafted this knee-length satin party dress and coat for Rebecca Bradley’s sixteenth birthday in 1961. Bradley, who lived in Raleigh, so loved the dress that she also wore it to the Queen of Hearts dance at Broughton High School, and for subsequent birthdays.
